Jose Cruz  Dr. Jose M. Cruz

Biography:

Dr. Jose M. Cruz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Operations and Information Management at the School of Business at the University of Connecticut,  Storrs, CT.

He received his PhD  in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Science and a minor in Finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in May 2004.  

He received a BS in Computer Systems Engineering and Mathematics, an MS in Applied Mathematics, and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is from Cape Verde. 

His research interests include: corporate social responsibility,  international financial networks with intermediation and electronic transactions, global supply chain networks, and risk management.
