Biography:

Amir Masoumi is a Doctoral Student in Business Admnistration with a major in Management Science and a minor in Industrial Engineering at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst.

He received an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Azad University, Science and Research Campus, Tehran, Iran in 2006 and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran in 2003.

His research interests include: Supply Chain Networks, Applications of Decision and Risk Analysis, Distributed Decision Making, and Network Optimization.

Amir was the President of the UMass Amherst INFORMS Student Chapter for 2008-2009. He received the 2009 Award for exceptional service to the student chapter.
